Graphics programs, such as Photoshop, provide inexpensive methods of image presentation in technical documentation.

Color printouts are typically too expensive and difficult, and would no longer fit the budget for specialized machinery and specialty fixtures in particular.

Most technical details are difficult to see in black & white photos. In cases like this, it is worthwhile to graphically prep the photos and turn them into a drawing, as the example below demonstrates.
